The studio-workshop is where continuous exploration of materials, tools, frequencies, tuning techniques and shaping takes place to achieve the subtle technical touches required to obtain a high-quality pantam with an open, balanced sound. THE MANIK RITUAL The creation of a Manik is a true ritual, where calm, skill and care taken over each detail are the essential ingredients for obtaining a high-quality sound. The creative process is entirely manual, consisting of several phases in which skilful hands, together with good technical knowledge of steel and its behaviour, are crucial factors in obtaining an excellent sound.
